Last year, the brothers buried the hatchet after years of feuding and went on to announce their long-awaited return with a run of ‘Live ’25’ comeback shows in stadiums across the world.
Once the tour was well underway, Peaky Blinders director Steven Knight was announced to be working as a producer on the reunion tour film, which is being directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, known for the LCD Soundsystem documentary Shut Up And Play The Hits.
For the documentary, Knight’s crew were allowed access to the meetings and rehearsal rooms that preceded the historic comeback, and sources have now claimed that Oasis fans will be “spellbound” by watching the brothers work through their feud.
Speaking to The Mirror about the behind-the-scenes vantage point, the source said: “The footage and access given to Steven and his team is phenomenal. Liam and Noel have never been seen in such an open and vulnerable way.

“This is much greater than a ‘let’s do it for the money’ comeback. It centres on deep-seated emotions – jealousy, ill-will, anger – and then a deep desire for reconciliation.”
They continued: “The footage of them being reunited, and discussions of how that came to be, will see the pair of them opening up like never before. It was very raw and deeply moving. Liam had to man up and make apologies and take ownership of much of the cause of the issues.
“Noel, too, stepped up. The first couple of weeks were maybe the first time egos were left at the door. Of course once we got closer to the gigs, Liam’s swagger was back with a bang – but away from the spotlight he’s been mindful of maintaining harmony.”
Earlier this year, submissions were opened for Oasis fans to share their stories relating to the band’s music for the forthcoming film.
The formerly estranged brothers – who had previously been at loggerheads since Oasis broke up in 2009 – appeared reunited for the first time following a secret photoshoot last August, with sources saying the two were “laughing and joking” on set even after all the years apart.
Last night (September 27), the band returned to the capital for the first of a pair of huge dates at Wembley, with fuelling rumours that more Oasis shows could be in store for next year, thanking fans for “keeping the faith” and saying, “See you next year.”
After wrapping up their UK shows with one final Wembley gig tonight (September 28), the band will head to Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
NME gave the opening night of Live ’25 in Cardiff a glowing five-star review. “After a ‘90s heyday and an often maligned post-millennium era, this is Oasis redesigned for the 21st Century,” it read. “Playing before a pop-art-meets-psychedelia visual spectacular that never distracts but will look sick on a phone, they seem the quintessential stadium band playing the greatest hits of greatest hits.”
