Michaels, who works for North Carolina’s WRAL and Fox 50, has taken to social media for some cryptic posts – all seemingly related to Sleep Token. On March 27, Michaels made the first of these posts, showing him standing in front of the band’s logo on a black screen. At the end of the video, some text reads: “Prepare. 3/29.”
Then, on March 29, Michaels alluded to another teaser set to arrive on the 31st. In the video, he gave the following speech whilst being interrupted with images of the band’s logo: “By now you know to prepare for any storm that may come through, but do you really know where you are? Well, behold — an offering to help you get better acclimated with that.
“Of course, details will emerge throughout the week, developing… starting Monday.”

On March 31, Michaels appears to have teased the band’s latest single, along with offering some more tantalising clues for fans. He shared a snippet from a weather report he had presented, where the phrases the “last freeze,” returning to “the garden” and “doing some planting” were used.
Additionally, the word ‘Plan(t)’ appears at the end of the video, along with: “4/2. 8AM EDT.” It appears this may be Sleep Token’s forthcoming single.

Sleep Token are due to release their highly-anticipated fourth album ‘Even In Arcadia’ on May 9 via RCA. They announced their record with lead single ‘Emergence’ in March – a track which NME said was Sleep Token at their “sprawling, genre-defying best” in a four-star review.
“‘Emergence’ confirms the left turns they still have in store, and maintains the intrigue around the extent of the world-building on ‘Even In Arcadia’ – which some fans are expecting will step away from the connected trilogy of albums that came before,” writer Rishi Shah wrote. “In the meantime, we can only continue what Sleep Token always asked us to do: worship.”
Sleep Token are set to headline Download Festival this year alongside Bring Me The Horizon and Deftones.
Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold, Spiritbox, Knocked Loose and Lamb of God are amongst the 150 names that will play the Donington Park festival.
They will also tour ‘Even In Arcadia’ in September, with all shows taking place in North American. Dates kick off with a show in Duluth in Georgia on September 16, and continue with stops in Orlando, Greensboro, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and more over the following weeks.
