This year’s Oscars nominations have been announced – check out the full list below:
The Oscars are the pinnacle of the 2026 awards season, celebrating the best of the year in cinema. Hollywood’s biggest night will be hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien and broadcast live on March 15. UK viewers will be able to watch on ITV1 and ITVX rom 11pm GMT, while US movie fans can watch the ceremony on ABC i from 7:00pm ET/4:00pm PT. Recently, it was announced that The Oscars would have a new home from 2029, streaming worldwide on YouTube.
The nominees for the Oscars 2026 were confirmed during a livestreamed ceremony earlier today (January 22). Sinners came away as the most-nominated film, with 16 nods including Best Picture, Best Actor (Michael B. Jordan), Best Directing (Ryan Coogler) and Best Supporting Actress (Wunmi Mosaku).
One Battle After Another racked up 13 nominations, and Frankenstein, Marty Supreme and Sentimental Value all earned nine. Dwayne Johnson‘s The Smashing Machine wasn’t as successful, with just one nomination for Best Makeup And Hairstyling while Wicked: For Good failed to earn a single nomination after the original was shortlisted for 10 awards.
