Earlier this week, Swift announced her highly anticipated 12th studio album ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’. Earlier today, she confirmed the album’s release date, shared its tracklist and announced the producers who worked on the record with her.
Earlier in the week, it was also confirmed that Swift would be making her first-ever appearance on the New Heights podcast, hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason.

The full podcast episode aired late last night, though select clips from the show had made their way onto social media ahead of its release to promote Taylor Swift’s album announcement.
Now, in the full episode of the New Heights podcast, the singer-songwriter spoke of her upcoming album and how it all came together. Speaking to the Kelce brothers, Swift recalled touring Europe in the summer last year, where she found herself flying to and from Sweden to work on the record in between shows.
“I would be playing shows. I would do like three shows in a row. I’d have three days off. I’d fly to Sweden, go back to the tour, and was actually working on this. I was physically exhausted at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating.”
Swift has since revealed more details surrounding ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’. It’s due for release on October 3, with pre-orders shipping from October 15 onwards.
As previously hinted, the album was co-produced by Max Martin and Shellback, as well as Swift herself. As for the album’s tracklist, it consists of 12 songs and only one feature: Sabrina Carpenter will join Swift for the title track – which also serves as the album closer.
Swift has also unveiled four limited-edition deluxe variations of ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ on CD – all of which contain special artwork, booklets, photocards and more. The tracklisting remains unchanged. You can check out all four variations and place your orders here.
