Kudrow, who played Phoebe in the iconic series, is currently promoting her new show No Good Deed, where she stars alongside Everybody Loves Raymond‘s Ray Romano.

In an Instagram post from No Good Deed‘s creator Liz Feldman, Romano and Kudrow can be seen surprising fans who were queuing to take photos with the couch – a staple of the New York City-based show that aired from 1995-2004.

First, Romano approaches the prop, saying: “Everybody forgets that Everybody Loves Raymond filmed on Warner Bros. too. So I just want to make sure they remember.”

“It’s not all about Friends. We were two stages down. You gotta go visit our stage,” Romano tells the crowd.

Kudrow then appears, saying: “Go sit on your own show’s couch!” She adds: “Now he just always comes to this couch because he wants more attention.” Check out the moment below.

No Good Deed sees Kudrow and Romano play a couple selling their Los Angeles villa on the real estate market while working to conceal the property’s dark secrets. All eight episodes are now available to stream on Netflix.

In other news, it was recently revealed that the six core members of the Friends cast – herself, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc and the late Matthew Perry – only met up once in the 17 years after the show ended.

Kudrow also shared that she grew “irritated” with the live audience while filming the hit show for laughing too long at things that weren’t funny, and that she had been rewatching the series “to remember” Perry, who died last year at the age of 54.

Perry was found unconscious at his home in Los Angeles in late October. It has since been revealed that he died from the acute effects of ketamine, with contributing factors including drowning.

In September, Dr Mark Chavez was charged in connection with the actor’s death and has pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute ketamine. Two others – Perry’s assistant Kenneth Iwasama and friend Erik Fleming – have pleaded guilty to their involvement in the Friends star’s fatal overdose.

Iwasama, Fleming and Chavez were offered lesser charges by prosecutors in exchange for their cooperation as they pursue others they believe to be more responsible for Perry’s death, namely Dr Salvador Plasencia and Jasveen Sangha – the so called ‘Ketamine Queen’ – who allegedly supplied Perry with ketamine.

Sangha has pleaded not guilty and claims she never met Perry. Dr Plasencia has also pleaded not guilty to illegally selling ketamine to Perry in the month before his death. Both will go on trial in March 2025.

Meanwhile, Aniston was brought to tears during a recent interview with Quinta Brunson, in which she was asked what it is like to watch Friends following the death of Perry.

On the recent 30th anniversary of the show, Cox said she “can’t imagine” a reboot of Friends that would work. “It’s hard to try to redo anything,” she said. “Anything with ‘re’ in front of it with this group…I think it’s so special.”
